Refreshing, tangy, and not too sweet, this is my go-to juice. The veggies and fruits you’ll be using are generally available year round, so it’s easy to find them at your grocery store!
½ a large bunch of kale (about two cups chopped)
Large handful of romaine
2 inch piece of ginger, cut into a few smaller pieces
½ lemon, peel removed
2 granny smith apples (on the smaller side), sliced and seeds removed
½ large cucumber
Process all ingredients in your preferred juicer.
This recipe yields two 12 oz servings, but the juice extracted will differ slightly depending on the type of juicer you’re using. As I’ve mentioned previously, I use an Omega masticating juicer which I dig.
